Justin Maxwell Chief Financial Officer of Tennessee Farmers Cooperative
Justin Maxwell will join Tennessee Farmers Cooperative’s senior leadership team as Chief Financial Officer, effective August 3, 2026.

Justin began his career with Tennessee Farmers Cooperative in 2002 after earning a B.S. in Accounting from Tennessee Tech. He spent three years as an auditor before becoming Senior Regional Accountant, a role he held from 2005 to 2014. In 2015, he was named West Tennessee Regional Manager.  Later in 2015, Justin joined EFC Systems as Vice President of Finance. When EFC Systems became part of Ever.Ag in 2021, he continued serving as Vice President of Finance for the Agribusiness division.

Justin is a native of Putnam County and lives in Mt. Juliet with his wife of 23 years, Ginnie, and their two sons, Jake and Joah. In their free time, the family enjoys supporting Jake’s musical theatre activities and Joah’s baseball activities. They attend Kemper Heights Church of Christ.

As CFO, Justin’s direct reports will include Joanna McClendon, manager of Co-op Financial Solutions, and Holly Best, director of IT.  Justin is excited to be returning to Tennessee Farmers Cooperative to once again serve the members and producers across the TFC system.

Kirk Fischer will transition to the role of TFC Controller and will remain on the senior leadership team, reporting to Justin. Kirk will oversee TFC Corporate Accounting and Regional Accounting, with additional responsibilities in the TFC Risk areas.

Kirk began his career with TFC in 2003 as a Corporate Accountant. He later served as Senior Regional Accountant in 2013 and Internal Auditor in 2016 before being named CFO in 2021.

Kirk and his wife, Jaime, live in Murfreesboro. They have four children: Audrey, Wyatt, and twins Wes and Theo. Kirk is a certified public accountant and holds a master’s degree in Accounting and a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Middle Tennessee State University.
